I got a ticket on the subway for having a dog. Will it go on my permanent record?

I was charged with having a dog in the subway without the proper container. I received a $25 fine and I could go to court to fight it. However, unless it goes on my record, I don’t want to miss a day of work. Can someone please give me some references if it is serious or nothing to worry about?
